Jean-Jacques Cattier and his son, Alexandre, represent the 12th and 13th generations of vignerons, serving as the master craftsmen behind Armand de Brignac’s prestigious cuvées. Their ambition was to create an exceptional Champagne, an embodiment of excellence from the very heart of the Champagne region, where their family has been cultivating vines for over 250 years.
The Cattier family is rooted in the Montagne de Reims, boasting ownership of 33 hectares across some of Champagne's most distinguished crus, including the esteemed villages of Rilly-la-Montagne, Chigny-les-Roses, and Ludes.
