In May 2017, Volcan de mi Tierra was born from a partnership between LVMH and the Gallardo family, with the ambition to create a tequila that is both complex and truly unique.

Volcan de mi Tierra takes its name from a volcano situated on the plains of Jalisco, Mexico: the formidable 'Volcan de Tequila'.

Some 200,000 years ago, the Volcan de Tequila erupted, profoundly shaping the land and topography of the Jalisco region. This significant eruption blanketed the area with rich volcanic soil, establishing it as an ideal locale for the cultivation of blue agave.

Volcan de mi Tierra draws its very essence from these fertile, volcanic-rich lands. The soils, abundant in iron and basalt, yield the distinctive aromas that form the unparalleled signature of our tequila.
