Tesseron

Cognac - France

The esteemed heritage of Tesseron Cognac traces its origins to the 19th century, when Abel Tesseron acquired the estate and began the meticulous curation of rare and prestigious cognacs. This distinguished tradition has been faithfully upheld by his son and grandson, Alfred, who now presides over the family enterprise. Alfred also proudly owns the esteemed Château Pontet-Canet, a Pauillac cru classified in 1855.

The three traditional Cognac grape varietals – Ugni Blanc, Folle Blanche, and Colombard – are diligently cultivated on the Tesseron estates. While Folle Blanche and Colombard have become remarkably scarce within the region due to their delicate cultivation requirements and modest yields, their inclusion remains paramount. They impart an exceptional dimension to the ultimate blend, elevating its complexity and character.
