Gérard Bertrand

Languedoc

It was in 1975, amidst the vineyards of Château de Villemajou, in the very heart of Corbières, that Gérard Bertrand conducted his first harvest, discovering his profound passion for wine. He would refine his expertise over twelve years, working alongside his father, Georges Bertrand.

Deeply committed to the values of performance and excellence honed on the rugby pitch, Gérard Bertrand pursued his quest: to unveil the finest terroirs of his region and to champion them across the globe. He established the Gérard Bertrand wine company with the vision of developing a distinguished range of wines from the South of France.

The pursuit of Excellence, whilst honouring biodiversity. With fifteen estates boasting iconic terroirs, Gérard Bertrand stands as the Ambassador of the Grand Wines of Languedoc-Roussillon worldwide. He has passionately and enthusiastically championed the richness of his region for over three decades. Gérard Bertrand is dedicated to sharing the exceptional characteristics and diversity of each individual terroir.

Two decades of unparalleled expertise ensure that wines bearing the Gérard Bertrand signature embody a unique style, driven daily by four fundamental values: excellence, authenticity, conviviality, and innovation.
